AssetFeed is operated by Individual Entrepreneur Mykola Vysotskyi, registered in Georgia (Sakartvelo). Like pretty much every website, we use cookies — here's the rundown on what that means for you.

The short version

Cookies are tiny files your browser stores when you visit websites. We use them to keep you logged in, remember your preferences (like dark mode), and figure out how people use AssetFeed so we can make it better.

What we actually use cookies for

Keeping things working. Some cookies are just necessary — they handle your login session and basic security stuff. Without these, you'd have to sign in every time you click a link. Nobody wants that.

Remembering your settings. If you pick dark mode or set certain preferences, cookies remember that so you don't have to do it again next visit.

Understanding usage patterns. We use Google Analytics to see which pages people visit most, where they get stuck, and what's actually useful. This data is aggregated — we're looking at trends, not watching what you specifically do.

Third parties

Kukie is the tool behind that consent banner you see on your first visit. It's loaded from cdn.kukie.io. Kukie itself sets a cookie in your browser to remember your choice (accepted, rejected, or customized) so it doesn't ask you every time — and it's also how you change your mind later, since reopening the banner is what lets you update that stored choice.

Google Analytics (GA4) is the main analytics service we use. Its cookies (like _ga) are only set after you've given consent for analytics — before that, nothing gets dropped. GA has its own privacy policy and practices. If you want to opt out of Google Analytics entirely, there's a browser extension for that.

Your choices

You've got options here:

• When you first visit, you'll see a consent banner (powered by Kukie) — pick what you're comfortable with
• You can reopen that banner any time to change your choice
• Your browser settings can block or clear cookies anytime
• Most modern browsers let you browse in incognito/private mode which doesn't save cookies

Just know that blocking essential cookies might break some site features. That's the trade-off.

How long do cookies stick around?

Some disappear when you close your browser (session cookies). Others hang around longer — usually up to a year or two for analytics stuff. You can always clear them manually through your browser settings.

If we change how we use cookies in any significant way, we'll update this page. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect that.
